Scotland’s Saltire Scholarships


 This is a substantial programme of scholarships, offered on a matched funding basis between the Scottish Government and Scottish Higher Education Institutions. The scheme offers up to 100 awards, each worth £4000. These are towards the tuition fees, for any one year of full time study, on an Undergraduate, Masters or PhD course at any of Scotland’s higher education institutions.

The scholarships are designed to support the promotion of Scotland as a learning nation and a science nation and are therefore targeted at the priority sectors of creative industries, life sciences, technology, financial services and renewable and clean energy. These are available across key priority countries:

The scholarships are available to students as part of a wider strategy to promote Scotland as a study destination and showcase Scotland’s higher education offering in international markets.

Tio university of applied sciences


 This award winning private University in the Netherlands was voted 'Best University of Applied Sciences (small size)' and the 'Best Hotel School in the Netherlands' in 2014, 2015 and 2016. Tio campus locations are in Amsterdam, Utrecht (International Campus) Eindhoven, Rotterdam and Hengelo and are all easily accessible by public transportation. Courses in English include Hotel & Event Management, International Tourism and International Business.  

Tio offers scholarships to non-European students for its English bachelor courses. The scholarship is awarded for one academic year. Scholarships are awarded on a merit basis, to apply for a Tio Talent Scholarship (€ 4,375 per full degree student in 2017) you must have above average grades from your current institution. If your native language is not English you must have an IELTS Academic score of 6.5 or higher, TOEFL iBT score of 90 or higher, Cambridge exam of CAE-B or higher or CEFR C1 level or higher. For a Tio Super Talent scholarship (€ 8,750 in 2017) you should have outstanding grades.  If your native language is not English you must have an IELTS Academic score of 7.0 or higher, TOEFL iBT score of 100 or higher, Cambridge exam of CAE-A or higher or CEFR C1 level or higher.

York St John university


York St John University has a magnificent campus and is located in the centre of the historic English City of York. The eleven-acre site on Lord Mayor’s Walk is in a stunning setting facing the world-famous York Minster across the city walls.

York St John University is partnering with Community Colleges in the USA and Canada to offer students with a two-year Associate Degree, the possibility of an advanced entry pathway into year 3 of their undergraduate programs.  This will enable Community College students to gain a globally-recognised UK Honours Degree in just one academic year. Appropriately qualified Community College students  should have an average GPA of 3.0 or above to obtain a, merit-based scholarship - contact us for details for partner colleges, programs and the amount of scholarship available.

Student accommodation within walking distance of the University and the beautiful city centre of York is guaranteed to international students (application date limitations apply). 




BAFTX was established to help provide financial assistance and educational opportunities to academically-gifted students in the United Kingdom & the United States who otherwise might not be able to pursue their education due to financial constraints. 

This organisation may provide scholarships for tuition only for Texas students who want to study in the UK or for UK students to study in Texas.

​Awards may be available for Undergraduate or Post graduate study. The undergraduate award is aimed toward low income families in Texas, or the UK and is intended to alleviate the financial burden of funding college fees.

saxion university of applied sciences


 This is a top Dutch vocational university with four campuses in the eastern Netherlands. Saxion University has a rich history – its roots can be traced back to the 1875. It provides more than 100 courses in a wide variety of study fields, such as finance, law, engineering, hospitality, and art.
