This is a substantial programme of scholarships, offered on a matched funding basis between the Scottish Government and Scottish Higher Education Institutions. The scheme offers up to 100 awards, each worth £4000. These are towards the tuition fees, for any one year of full time study, on an Undergraduate, Masters or PhD course at any of Scotland’s higher education institutions.
The scholarships are designed to support the promotion of Scotland as a learning nation and a science nation and are therefore targeted at the priority sectors of creative industries, life sciences, technology, financial services and renewable and clean energy. The scholarships are available to students as part of a wider strategy to promote Scotland as a study destination and showcase Scotland’s higher education offering in international markets.

Tio offers scholarships to non-European students for its English bachelor courses. The scholarship is awarded for one academic year. Scholarships are awarded on a merit basis, to apply for a Tio Talent Scholarship (€ 4,375 per full degree student in 2017) you must have above average grades from your current institution. If your native language is not English you must have an IELTS Academic score of 6.5 or higher, TOEFL iBT score of 90 or higher, Cambridge exam of CAE-B or higher or CEFR C1 level or higher. For a Tio Super Talent scholarship (€ 8,750 in 2017) you should have outstanding grades. If your native language is not English you must have an IELTS Academic score of 7.0 or higher, TOEFL iBT score of 100 or higher, Cambridge exam of CAE-A or higher or CEFR C1 level or higher.

This organisation may provide scholarships for tuition only for Texas students who want to study in the UK or for UK students to study in Texas.
Awards may be available for Undergraduate or Post graduate study. The undergraduate award is aimed toward low income families in Texas, or the UK and is intended to alleviate the financial burden of funding college fees.
